Topical Skin Protection
Outer layer protection: Sunscreen
Sunscreen protects our skin from harmful Ultraviolet (UV) Radiation, is an important step to prevent premature aging.
The American Academy of Dermatology recommends daily use of sunscreen with sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 30.
An ideal sunscreen should:
- Contains a broad-spectrum, able to block both UVA (UVA1 & UVA2) and UVB rays.
- With high photostability, active ingredients do not break down in the sun easily (so that the product remains effective).
- Active and inactive ingredients are proven to be safe for both adults and children, such as Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide.
